You can reach our data protection officer at our address with the addition - Data Protection Officer - or by e-mail at datenschutz@feig.de.

Scope of the data processing

When you download the app from the respective app store, the following data is automatically transmitted to the respective app store: your user name, your email address, your customer number with the respective app store and the individual device ID of your end device. Neither we nor the joint controller have any influence on this data processing. The operator of the respective app store is solely responsible for this.

You do not register to use the app on your device.
No personal data is collected.

Our app uses the Bluetooth interface of your end device to establish a connection to the radar sensor, which you operate and/or maintain using this app. To activate the interface, you may have to accept the request for your location. However, our app does not use the location information. In addition, our app temporarily accesses the file system of your end device during the export and import of parameter files.

When using the app, remote maintenance can be carried out for support purposes at your request. The support employee will only have access to the data processed in the app. Reports on any error messages and/or crashes of the app are forwarded without access to personal data.

We process this data on the basis of Article 6(1)(b) GDPR to establish, implement and terminate the user contract concluded with you via our app. The purpose of data processing is to enable you to use the app to commission and maintain the radar sensor.

Your data is stored on a Microsoft server located in Germany. If data is transferred to a third country, we ensure that the requirements of Article 44 et seq. GDPR are complied with. If there is an adequacy decision for the third country in accordance with Article 45 GDPR, we rely on this. Otherwise, we generally use EU standard contractual clauses in accordance with Article 46(2)(c) GDPR. Automated decision-making, including profiling, does not take place.

In addition, we only store your data if we are obliged to store it for a longer period of time due to legal requirements. The further storage is then based on a legal obligation, so that the data processing then finds its legal basis in Article 6 para. 1 lit. c) GDPR.
